In April 2016, we went to Lake Argyle Resort & Caravan Park for an awesome long weekend. On the way, we stopped in at Kununurra and had a chat with local Melissa Connell (brother Scotty Connell was away on a work mission at the time). These two founders of The Kimberley Australia Facebook, Instagram and website pages sure know how to put the Kimberley region on the map! Mel invited us to join her on a stunning kayak session across the Ord to Elephant Rock and the surrounding wetlands. It was magic spending some time in their backyard.
